1. Laila is perfecting her signing vocabulary, which is pretty hysterical, she can say: Baby, Daddy, Love, please, help, stop, milk, cup, eat, more, hurt, dog.
It's pretty impressive.
2. Charlotte has been sleeping through the night, like a true champ. She is growing so fast, she better stop. Oh how I'm going to miss the little ones. I don't really like to share her. I want to do all the holding. Lucky me, I get to.
3. Hallie is dancing all around, and has become quite the hider. She hides everywhere and everything. She's freakishly sneaky.
4. Colson is a reading maniac. Any good suggestions? I finally got him off Harry Potter, and he's read several Judy Blume books, and Indian in the Cupboard, and Charlie and the glass elevator, and more... Anyway, suggestions would be appreciated.
5. Josh working hard. He's on a regular schedule, and is getting to know more people, and has been helping a ton around the house. He was also bragging about his physical prowess in the push-up department. I challenged him to 50 push-ups for a reward. Needless to say I've never seen him pump out 50 push-ups so fast...
6. Me, barely getting it all done. Miss everyone!!

Lydia loves the Chronicles of Narnia. I thought Spiderwick Chronicles was a bit scary, but if he has read Harry Potter, I'm sure that is scarier.
Thanks for the update! It's good to hear that everyone is doing well. Books for Colson...I always like picking from the award lists. Search for Newbery or Caldecott winners. Some of my favorites: The Little Prince, Boxcar Children, Chronicles of Narnia, anything by Roald Dahl, Charlotte's Web, Stuart Little, Ramona or Fudge books and so many others that I can't think of right now. I love reading! Way to go Colson for being a reader!
I highly recommend The Great Brain series (By John Fitzgerald). I still love them.
Good to see an update. Sorry we never talked the other day. Hope you got my message. Okay, good books. I have a few suggestions. Any E.B. White books. (Charlotte's Web, Trumpet of the Swan, Stuart Little) I loved those. I also used to read The Boxcar Children. I think he would really like it. I think it might be a series now. Not sure what level he reads, but I always read the old Nancy Drew books so there's always The Hardy Boys.
O.k. Ladies - thanks for the suggestions! He's read most of those suggested, but there is a couple new ones we'll try.
What about the Star Wars books? He'd love those! Also that reward must have been pretty good.... ;)
nice to have an update... pictures please! ;-)
When I was young, my favorite books were the Trixie Belden Mysteries. I loved that series! Maybe they're a big girlish, but keep it in mind for the girls!
