My mom sent me a recipe for overnight oatmeal. I'm giving it a try tonight. I love the idea of hot oatmeal for breakfast straight from the crockpot. If it's any good - I'll share the recipe tomorrow! Good Night all - it's back to the grind!
Oh you've got to be kidding...I saw the title and thought "that's awesome, just what I need so we can get to the gym on time in the morning." I can't believe you didn't share the recipe tonight. I hope it's good so I can get it tomorrow. If I am late for the gym in the morning, I am blaming you. :)
Is it Irish oats? I tried a recipe from Alton Brown several years ago for overnight Irish oats. I was the only one who liked it, so I never made it again.
How did it turn out? I didn't have raisins, so I put fresh whole cranberries in mine! It was pretty good, but by the time we got to eating it, (Christmas morning) it was a little overcooked.

I make oatmeal from steel cut oats in the crockpot over night. I love it. It is just hard to remember to put it in!
