Nobama Noway

I'm seriously giving myself an ulcer over this election. I find it so disheartening that Americans are missing some KEY issues when it comes to this vote.

1. YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER HIS ASSOCIATIONS. A terrorist, a US hater, a PLO spokesperson and others have shaped his views, whether or not he agrees, he sympathizes. Name ONE inappropriate relationship from McCain. ONE.

2. YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER THE PROMISES. He's promised the world to the people that don't pay taxes. He can't deliver. It isn't right to TAKE from the rich and give to the poor. You can suggest it, encourage it, but don't FORCE anyone to do it, it breeds an ugly attitude. Aren't we a country that dreams big, if you want more money, dream bigger for yourself, and work harder, where is the pride in what you do, when you are handed something for nothing?

3. YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER HIS WORD. He was going to accept Public Financing, and then didn't. He also committed to be a senator for the state of Illinois. I looked up his record. He voted only 45.5% of the time. He didn't help the people of Illinois, by NOT doing the only thing required of him, to vote on legislation.

4. YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER HIS EXPERIENCE. He doesn't have any. Nothing, nowhere has he shown what he is capable of. We have nothing. Can I suggest a few people that have "quickly risen to power", o.k. I won't, but it's scary to thing about. How can we trust him? We have no idea who he is or what he stands for.

5. YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER HIS IDEAS ON FOREIGN POLICY. Diplomacy with terrorist nations?? I mean these bad guys are wanting him to be president. They're not cheering on McCain, because they're scared of him. No, they want Obama. That is scary.

I absolutely believe the worst case scenario in this election is Obama winning. He's scary and not trustworthy, and dangerous. McCain has his weaknesses no doubt, but at least we know COUNTRY FIRST.

Go Vote, Vote often, and if you're voting for Obama, get sick! Just kidding... I had to lighten the post a little... I am so hoping you're voting educated. Do your research, not on CNN or FOXNEWS. Look for their records, research!!

Great post!

I've tried to think of a time I can vote without having to take Kaden. Looks like I either take him with me, or I don't vote. I sure hope the line won't be too long! A two year old only has so much patience!

I'm with you Lucy. I am almost physically ill over this election. I have never been so passionate about a candidate before. Neither is perfect, but the thought of one of them in the White House coats me in fear. My step-dad told me the other day that he heard a discussion on whether or not Obama and/or McCain could work for the CIA. McCain was fine, but because of Obama's associations even the CIA would not hire him. Ok people, THAT is scary. He can't work for the CIA, but he can run our country. I'm praying that God steps in and prompts those undecided voters. The decided (I still love them) I just don't understand. I read this amazing quote the other day, "Who would win if all the aborted babies could come back to vote?" I think we should all be fasting tomorrow.

Thanks for the post. I wish people would do real reserch. Not watching SNL, waiting for the news which is so bias, or hearing from a nieghbor who might or might not have know him personally. So thanks for the facts.

And I'm purposly taking all three boys with me. I know it will be hard and I'll have my purse stuffed with fruit snacks, but I want them to know how improtant it is, and to be a part of something great, even at a young age.

Amen... I get pretty downhearted just thinking about Obama winning. He just sucks. McCain is NOT perfect, but he is the better man by a LONG shot.

You forgot Obamas Pro-abortion stance and his negativity towards the military. More CIVILIAN security? And his health care stance? BOTH are spot on for Socialism. scary.

I voted! I took my two kids under 4 and wow, they were actually good. It felt really good do it and now I sit biting my nails over the results. I admit to not being all that informed, as far as doing my own research goes. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the issues Lucy! Love ya!

WooHoo! I'm on an adrenalin high from voting. I took my sidekick, 10 week old Ferris, and the retiree offered to give me two ballots Hee Hee. I love this country. And that is why I really really don't want Osama, I mean, Obama, in the White House.

Victoria,
You are HILARIOUS! I was laughing out loud at your ending!

So I just super duper voted for McCain with both the kids in tow. Of course it is easier with the one being immobile. Anyway, I think it's good for our kids to witness democracy in action. It's funny cause Marley goes around the house talking angrily about Barack Obama, because me and Ben are constantly talking about how horrible he is.

I feel your frustration. As Soldiers, I'm especially worried having to work for this man. However, check out my post:
