Harlot.

During scriptures tonight I was trying to "trap" Josh into an explanation of a Harlot. He told Colson it was a woman who made bad choices. Colson's Response - Looks at me and says "You're a little bit of a harlot, mom."

On another note - Josh's hotel he stayed at for a few months overseas was completely destroyed today by terrorists. 12 months ago today he was there. We are saying our prayers in gratitude tonight.

Wow, I know I heard about that. I cannot believe that was his hotel. That is crazy. Luckily Perry is still in Kuwait right now. There is so much random violence over there that nowhere seems safe.

Are you talking about the Marriot in Pakistan? Blake has stayed there too--it's insane. Last time it was blown up he was supposed to be there and his trip was canceled. I'm so Josh isn't there.

Hilarious about the harlot. Kids are so funny!

I too just read that right before reading your blog. Of coarse I notice Sarah also heard the news. Funny how when your loved one is SOMEWHERE over there, you just pay more attention to that kind of stuff. Scary! That was like me on Sept 11th 2001. I had just been in the world trade center 12 days before! It was an eiry(Sp?) feeling of gratitude.

Oh my gosh...that whole hotel thing is crazy! I'm so glad he wasn't there anymore.

You HARLOT, you. That kid is hilarious! That's alright...I suppose there's a little bit of harlot in all of us!

I think we all had those moments while having a husband, or other loved one, deployed. My mind really can't process it TOO much because of the feelings it entails, and i think that's a good thing.

As to the harlot thing, Anissa when she was 5, learned the word Hussy (sp??). Our loan officer said it in front of her in a moment of anger at someone else she had been dealing with. Fast forward sometime later, but within two months or so, her asking me if i was a hussy in front of our cashier at wal-mart. Try explaining that without it turning into something that was too much knowledge for her at the time. I think she knows what it means now, though...sadly.

Then I guess there is a little harlot in us all.

Ahhhh... love those kid moments. Gigi told me yesterday that she doesn't have a big belly like me -hers is small. Thanks Gidge, my self esteem really needed that.
