Blog Briefing.
1. Josh gives his first briefing to some air force higher up this week. Loves his job, and was able to get them to go with 4, Ten hour days, to help out with the commute. I call him at work now, and he goes by Mr. Heath (at least that's how they address him in the office). So funny.
2. Me, still pregnant, not puking, loving talking politics, enrolled in an H & R Block tax class with quizzes, homework, and a final. Don't ask, I'm just a nerd that likes to learn. Scheduled the crucial ultrasound for Sept. 26th, pray! And for enquiring minds, I'm still LOVING the COLTS, even after the horrendous display on Sunday. I wish I could be more active in this quest, but instead I'm learning about qualifying children, marital status, and the exemptions for a blind person who turns 65 on January 1st. Although, seeing Tom Brady out for the season gives me some, shall I say Joy?? Nah, I still would rather play the best, and lose to the best, than to beat the mediocre. Colts will win the Super Bowl, But it will be a harder fought season. Oh, and I'm single handily spending all of our extra money on things like FOOD HERE, PHOTOGRAPHER HERE, CLOTHES HERE, not to mention the FINES HERE.
3. Colson, 2nd grader, book reading, scripture studying, brainiac.
4. Hallie, still home. When does Kindergarten start?? Just kidding, love having that goofy girl around.
5. Laila, is Laila, so fun, loving and sweet. Not walking, not talking, I'm not caring, she will in her own time.
Finally, do you remember THIS POST? Well, Josh has declared he wants to join us for the adventure this year. Lucky us!
My friend DES and I share a LOVE for fall. We love our friends, our faith, our home, our job, each other. Life is good. Wishing you hugs, and warmth for the coming fall. Do me a favor, grab some apple cider, and cuddle with your main squeeze.

This was a nice heavy blog full of great info on you and your fam! It's funny, we have some great 50% apple juice that reminds me of the taste of apple cider. :) mmmm. We had our first cool day yesterday, but it's just like Colorado weather.. love ya!
Wow, great post! You really have Fall on your mind, don't you? Is it getting any cooler up there yet? I hear fall doesn't really start here until November. I am soo ready for it. Sick of the blasted heat. You guys sound busy and happy. Don't spend that big paycheck all at once! :) I'll be cuddling up with myself tonight. Thank you very much! :)
Warm mulled cider? Are you kidding me? No thanks! Within 30 minutes of drinking that poison I will be doubled over with severe gas pains, and you don't want to be around for what follows!
BTW: I also LOVE the FALL -- the very best season of the year... changing leaves, hayrides, fall produce, cooler weather, long sleeves, hikes in the woods, hearing the leaves crunch under my feet, the time change, starting up the coal stove, the list goes on and on!!
I love fall too! It's my favorite time of year. The bugs die, it's not too cold/not too hot, the trees look beautiful, the bugs die, the air has that crisp feeling, did I mention that the bugs all die? Hmmmmm fall...
I wish it would be fall around here. It is getting nice in the early evening, but up until then, it's 90.
Ooooh, true to form I'm SO excited for the photographer part. Are you doing those soon? Her stuff looks really cute!
I thought you'd be dancing around about Brady. Listen to you trash talk though! I'm just happy Brady wasn't on my fantasty football team. Go Colts! :-)
Well at least they are library fines and not traffic fines! I enjoy the fall for all the fun stuff that comes with it, but I worship the sun!! 100 degrees and all. Keep enjoying the big paycheck!
At least is library fines and not police fines! And I totally think apple cider is GROSS!!! Give me hot chocolate!!!
Did I tell you that last year I took all 5 kids (we had the boys) to get pumpkins too late and no one had any left. So I have the best picture of all 5 of them posing with the mini pumpkins and gourds and assorted squash they picked out at Albertsons. Good mom moment. :) Can't wait for that ultrasound!!
