Four Generations!

How lucky are we to have Josh's parents and grandparents come for a visit!! I was trying to come up with something fun to do... and of course in October, we just had to make some Jack-O-Lanterns.

I took a picture of all four generations carving pumpkins... SORRY COLSON, good hair genes are NOT in your future, unless Grandpa Blackman hooks you up!

And finally the results!

I don't know if my last comment worked or not. By the way, I think it is the maternal grandfather that you get the baldness gene from. Colson could be okay if your dad has hair. :)

I second sarah. I have always heard that if the mothers father has hair then the son will be fine. My boys are screwed. Is that an electric pumpkin carving knife in Josh's hand? Did you not LOVE it? The pumpkins turned out great! It's always fun when family visits.

What fun! It is really awesome, not only that Colson still has great grandparents, but they are able to come for a visit. And what great carvings! Don't look at my pumpkins when I post mine! I go for the standard triangle everything.

I loved the hair comment. Bald is in! Just look at Kobe. I agree with S & D about the mother's father, but you never know. We found some "Halloweens" and are going to carve them tomorrow! :)

those are some great pumpkins! We had a Cinderella pumpkin, we carved it too soon, and it's already all moldy.

Oh, forgot to say... I always heard it's the mother's side of the family that passes on the baldness gene. Don't know how true that is, but maybe Colson has a chance after all!
